Description of the system

The SIPS system is developed as an IOT platform for remote management and communication through M2M networks of the devices located in the field with a SW platform for management, administration and incident reporting, the system consists of the following elements:

  • SIPS devices: Located in the field, they contain highly sensitive and ultra-low power sensors and communicate with the platform via M2M networks (LoraWan, SiGfox, Nb-IoT).
  • Gateways: Provide the necessary connectivity between devices and the M2M network.
  • IoT Platform: Communication platform between the gateways and the cloud where the SW is hosted.
  • Web backend: Contains the databases for event management, alerts, locations, log management and device status.
  • Web frontend application: It provides user functionalities taking into account the different existing roles: location viewer, status, authorised access management, venues management, alarm management and reporting and reporting layer.
  • Android APP: Used for the management of installers, maintenance and interventions programmed by the client.

Main features and functionalities

  • Comprehensive device management.
  • Remote settings.
  • Zone role structure for access and device control.
  • Parameterisable event protocols and alerts.
  • Scheduled maintenance management.
  • Integration layer via xml / API.
  • Parameterisable reporting layer.
  • APP’s for installers and maintenance.
  • Look feel configurable for the client user.
